Fang Lijun: Look on Near and Far

In the catalog design for the artist Fang Lijun’s solo exhibition Fang Lijun: Look on Near and Far, 4aC design approached the cover as an extension of the artist’s own visual language. The design draws inspiration from the recurring ceramic-shard textures found in Fang Lijun’s work. Through printing and structural techniques, blurred ripples are placed on the underlying layer as a subtle suggestion of space and distance, while crisp textures are rendered on the surface through transparent processes, creating delicate variations when viewed from different angles. These two states coexist on a single plane, forming a visual relationship that hovers between concealment and revelation.
在艺术家方力钧个展《方力钧：观 · 近远》的画册设计中，4aC design 将封面作为作品语言的延伸进行思考。设计灵感来源于方力钧作品中反复出现的瓷片质感，我们尝试通过印刷与结构手段，模糊的波纹被置于底层，作为空间与距离的暗示；清晰的纹理由透明工艺呈现于表面，使其在不同观看角度下产生细微变化。两种状态在同一平面中共存，形成一种介于遮蔽与显现之间的视觉关系。
