We were invited to participate in “Motion: The Rhythm of Imagination” event in Sanlitun. Evolving. Aside from being a place name, can “Sanlitun” be given a deeper meaning? When we free ourselves from the constraints of “language” and “application” and adopt a more relaxed semiotic perspective, words can naturally release their inherent “signifier” colours. This work attempts to establish a visual association mechanism based on local culture. Three gives rise to everything, and everything is stored in three. Beyond time and culture, it is only related to your perception of the world. While we cannot list all the possibilities, we can offer a clue that transcends “reality”.
